Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American journalist. She's an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation occasionally. She began working for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was a bilingual since she was nine years old a useful talent that enabled her to get her first job as a production assistant for Univision in Miami and allowed her to be a part of the production team for national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. She was hired as reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. Her move from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on one of the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Her birth date was November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1985, in Mexico City. She's younger than her sister. In 1992, the family left Mexico for the US and eventually settled in Miami. The couple divorced within a short time and in 1995, she married a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. It was during a holiday in the summer that she lived with her sibling in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured the job. Antonietta still a senior at high school but she was clear about the career she wanted. While deciding if Mount Union is the right choice for her Antonietta decided to go visit the school. It turned out that she liked the campus, and the university offered the major she wanted. Following the completion of her high school education she enrolled in the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor - was also the manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Mark Bergmann inspired her to have confidence and also his love for journalism deeply affected her. She in turn, strived to live up to the expectations of him and not let him down.
