Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. She joined ESPN in the year of 2016. She is the daughter television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by her age of nine. It is this skill that allowed her to get her first position as a Univision producer assistant Miami. There, she collaborated with producers for television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then, in St. Petersburg, she was then hired as a reporter by the CBS station to work as the sports reporter. In 2009, she relocated in Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. The duties of anchoring on sports and weather was regularly requested. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasstation, which is where she takes on more responsibility. As a sports anchor she was employed by Primer Impacto (a network magazine) and Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. She has a sister. The family settled in Miami after relocating out of Mexico into the US. After a while they separated, and in 1995 Fabio Fajardo was remarried. He passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, younger Collins was able to take a job alongside her elder sister. As a senior in high school but knowing exactly what she would like to accomplish for her life, Antonietta went to her local University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her needs. At the end of the day she was enthralled with the university. The university offered her the opportunity to study a major. After completing her high school education, she was accepted into the university to study media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of the class, established a lasting relationship with the student. He encouraged her to believe in herself and his passion for journalism deeply influenced her. She, in turn, strived to live up to the expectations of him and not let him down.
